Since July 18, 2020, most of us survived the pandemic, thus far, and are beginning to see the pros and cons of the past three years. Keep calm and for goodness sake, READ ON!

Sleuthy Librarian says...
I will be posting a few things in the near future. I have been super busy with virtual Adult Summer Reading Programming, Weeding, running reports and formatting reports data for IPLAR, cataloging new materials, Webinars, and then personal life. Stay tuned for Rosa Reads and some other projects I have been working on recently. While there may be a lot of storm clouds, there are also silver linings, we just need to give a little more effort sometimes to find them.

Surviving the holidays and beyond...
What do you do to survive the holiday hustle and bustle? The past year or so has been especially tumultuous and has forced some of us to examine what we do with our time.
Some things I have done to relieve stress is minimize social media exposure, especially the last few weeks; watch only 15 minutes of news each night to include weather and sports; READ some books!; spend some quality time with family members just chatting about anything other than politics and other stressors.
I strongly suggest exercise, puzzles, coloring and other passive activities to ease, yet re-shape the mind. We have become too reliant on technology and have spent way too much time in front of screens.
If you are a person of faith, you know what you should be doing. Don't procrastinate, just get on with it!
While this post may have not seemed sleuthy, it is reflective of the current trends, research and common sense. If you read this post and have some positive strategies to share, please do so! Together, we can help others cope and become stronger!
Thank you! 💗

I have been busy searching for something worthy of sharing. I suspect over this past year, I have more than enough valid enough to regurgitate. I will give credit where it is due.
Have you been researching something lately and discovered new terminology in that given field or subject matter? Do tell! The world needs to know. Immediate gratification depends on you!
